1. PROCESSING
Animal Rights is the “Data Controller” and undertakes to ensure that the collection and processing of your “personal data” (Data) made from our paper or digital collection forms (from the website or via your exchanges) comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) and the amended Data Protection Act.
Animal Rights is committed to limiting the collection of personal data to what is strictly necessary, in compliance with data minimization.

1.1. THE DATA

The categories of data processed include identification data, in order to communicate with you, get to know you better and facilitate your relationship with the association.

Your Data is collected via paper or digital forms. Some data is mandatory for communication (such as your contact details), while other data is optional. Optional Data is collected so that we can get to know you better and send you personalized offers tailored to your expectations (donors, partners, supporters, etc.).

We may obtain information about you from your social network accounts or services, for example Facebook and Twitter, provided that you have set up your account to grant us permission to do so. Please check your settings and the privacy policies of these services for more information.
When you make a donation or a purchase, when you decide to pass on your assets, when you respond to a survey or take part in a mobilization campaign, we may also collect :

your bank details for donations ;

communication information (e-mail address or telephone number as well as your name);

information relating to your donation, purchase or asset transfer project

1.2. TREATMENTS

Animal Rights uses your Data to carry out its missions, ensure the follow-up of our exchanges, answer your applications, inform you about activities and events, provide you with information and management documents (tax receipts, calls for projects).
In particular, we use your Data to reinforce the effectiveness of our actions and to develop a personalized relationship with you in relation to our missions.

We do not sell or exchange your personal information to any third party or to any other charitable organization.
1.3. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

Every organization needs a legal basis to collect and use personal data covered by data protection legislation. The legislation authorizes six modes of processing personal data (and additional modes for sensitive personal data). Four of these apply to the types of processing used by the association.

We may process your personal data on the basis of :

the individual's consent (for example, to send you communications or request news about our residents) ;

the need to comply with a legal obligation;

the performance of a contract (for example, when making a donation);

our legitimate interests (e.g. to build loyalty and get to know our donors or future adopters).
Personal data may be lawfully collected and used if this is necessary for the legitimate interests of the organization using the data, provided that such use of the data is fair and does not infringe the rights of the data subject.

1.4. ADDRESSEES

The Data that you entrust to us is intended only for members of staff, volunteers and service providers, within the limits of their respective authorizations, duly made aware of the protection of personal data (the association's manager and her associates).

1.5. SHELF LIFE

We do not keep your personal data longer than is necessary for the purposes for which they are processed.

2. YOUR RIGHTS

You have fundamental rights with regard to the Data that you transmit to us, including the right to request access to the Data processed, its rectification or erasure, or a limitation of the processing relating to the person concerned, or the right to object to the processing and the right to Data portability.

Where you have given your consent to the processing of your Data, you may withdraw such consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given prior to the withdrawal of such consent.
